I have friends whose children go there. They are mostly very happy with it. The head is supposed to be very on the ball. Kesgrave High is another good secondary school in the area.

In Ipswich Northgate and Coppleston seem to be the schools that people try to get into, or if you are Catholic, St. Albans has a very good reputation.

Very large ,huge catchment area but very good .Getting more and more difficult to get into.Debenham is very popular and Kesgrave hsa a good reputation but again they cannot accomodate all of the catchment area.Another option is Thomas Mills at Framlingham

lottiejenkins · 13/01/2009 13:57

Thomas Mills is an excellent school, my godchildren go to school there and lots of my friends children too!!

I know one home edder that went to Farlingaye at about 13years old. Haven't seen him since to find out how he's getting on though.

It can be very difficult to get into Farlingaye if not at yr7 ,we know several people who have not been able to get places for year 8 or 9.
