Does anyone know where I can get hold of books that contain pictures within the text? i.e. instead of the word 'house' there would be a little picture of a house. DD is almost 3 and has stared to follow the words with her finger I would like to encourage this. I
I have stared doing some on the computer but book would be better.

Some of the pre-school age magazines have one or more stories like this, but I don't know of any books. (Bob the Builder for example)

Dd has "PB Bear" books, some of which are as you describe. But you'd have to see them in the shop to check which ones have full text and which ones have the pictures. I think the two she has with pictures are "PB Bear's birthday party" and one about playing doctors and nurses (can't remember the exact title).

There are a couple of computer programs that can do this type of stuff. you could try clicker or widget- bit pricey though......
