Hi. If anyone has any experience of Cranmore School in Horsley outside of Guildford I would love to hear about it as I am thinking of registering.

Very interested in quality of teaching, and how non-Catholics would fit in.

Many thanks.

Can't help but bumping for you.

Don't know about teaching but I hear on the local grapevine that it is very pressured academically and they seem to get masses more homework than their contemporaries at other local private schools. HTH

Used to be referred to as Cram-more. But that is at least 10 years ago so could be a completely out of date tongue-in-cheek comment.

I've heard that there is a new Head and that it is now less academically pressured. Also heard that the Catholic influence is not too strong.

However I don't have a child there and haven't even been round so this is only what I've heard on the grapevine. (I must be on a different grapevine to willali!).

Hopefully there is some one here who knows more!
