Has anyone experience/views of Hill House, Cameron House, Newton Prep and Thomas's they'd like to share?

A friend of ours has a child at Hill House who is very happy there, but I don't know about the others as it's not my neck of the woods.

Heard happy tales of Hill House and Newton

Heard various negative tales of Thomas but also know people with children there who are happy

just random gossip like a supply teacher being there for a year and the head never speaking to him/her

I've heard mixed reports about Thomas's too. A couple of people I know who had DC there felt it was very 'one size fits all', but then I think that's the case with many of the larger prep schools. I know other people who are happy with it though. Have to say, we looked round it some years ago now and hated it, but that's just a personal opinion

St Nicholas is lovely

This is helpful - haven't heard of St Nicholas though so will check it out
