Easter Holiday

How long do your children have off for Easter?
I have just had a look at my DD's term dates and it appears that she is off for almost a month!
18th March (last day spring) to 14th April (first day Summer)
Is this normal!?

My DS's school closes on 24th March and opens again on 12th april, so not as long here. He never seems to be at school these days!

I looked on a calendar - 4 weeks! Thank god I don't work.

2 weeks here - 18/3 - 4/4.

Is yours state or private?

4 weeks, same dates as you Spagblog, private school.

24 March to 20 April. Private prep in S London.

Mine is the same as JanH's (18/3 to 4/4). State infant school. DD2 is going into the nursery and starts on 11/4, but I guess this is because they stagger entry for the newbies. Also, Easter may be shorter because my LEA has a two-week half term in the summer term (primaries only, though).

The schools in our local area have set different dates which is a pain. DD is off from the 22nd March and goes back on the 11th April. DS is at nursery and he finishes on the11th April and goes back on the 25th April! That leaves me 5 weeks of childcare to cover for Easter holidays as I work full time!
