I am thinking of sending my little girl there for primary or nursery (assuming she can get in) as not in a good catchment, but only know what I have seen on a visit.

Anyone get any more experience of it?

Try the local website

www.ealingtoday.co.uk/

i think they have forums so you will probably get a response. I also live in the borough of ealing but have no experience of this school. There is also st augustines, nottinghill and ealing or falcons nearby if you are looking for private schools. If you are looking for catholic schools, have you thought about mount carmel in northfields?

I went and had a look round St Benedict's for DD last year, and decided against it. I thought the nursery staff were distracted and the nursery site was iffy. I did really like the junior school and especially the head of the junior school, but they've only just gone mixed and I didn't like the idea of DD being one of only a few of girls in her year.

Did you have a look round St Augustine's Priory? I'm much keener on it than St Benedict's. Fab head, lovely site, solid teaching, and the fees are a bargain comparatively.
