Kip Mcgrath - any details?

we are doing a 2 week taster of Kumon for my ds who is 6.

He is doing it in maths. I am a bit unsure whether I like it or not.

Somebody mentioned Kip Mcgrath. Has anybody any details/info on it? Their website is quite vague. I know that it is a 1 and half hour lesson a week - and it is £25 a week. Is it worth the money though? wwill it make much of a difference?

any info, details, opinions appreciated.
thanks

The quality of kip all depends on who owns the franchise. Ds went to Kip and had a lovely south african lady who had the right balance between being strict and fun. The south africian lady returned to South Africa and was replaced with a lady who whose teaching skills were far weaker. Sometimes Kip employs teachers who couldn't hack it in the classroom.

I have never tried Kumon. You can buy the exercise books on amazon for a fraction of the price. I feel that IPAD/ tablet apps are better for endless repeatition of number facts.
