Has anyone else's school not broken up yet... ?

Derbyshire don't break up til next Wednesday. Next door in Nottingham, they all break up today...

DD1 is very ...

We break up on Tuesday....... i am dreading it! Please let it be 6 weeks of sun!

DS2 doesn't officialy finish nursery until the 14th of August (funny set-up - mon-thu - so no fridays - and open through the school holidays).

Oh good, will have to inform DD of the good news that she's not the only one. Think Nottingham is s'posed to be Tues too, but they're all having inset days...

Next Wednesday here too. Some of the secondaries round here finished today but they had saved insets - next week Monday and Tuesday are inset days.

here in East Yorks primaries finished today but secondaries don't finish till next Tuesday.

They had Easter at Easter as well, so it's been eight loooooooong weeks this half term

I'm already dreading the hols! The boys argue in the morning before school and argue when they get home, all the way to bedtime. Those precious school hours are what stop me from turning into an axe-wielding maniac.

Next Thursday and Friday in Stockport! But we do have 2 weeks at Whit....

In my part of Surrey - some on Tuesday , some on Wednesday and some on Thursday ! Seems quite late this year .

We don't break up till next weds and go back on the 2nd September so not even 6 weeks (due to the easter break not at easter)

Such a waste of time- they won't be doing anything anyway and have hardly done anything this week either!

Next Tuesday for us. I think the DDs are really lucky as they will get a week with DP and I, 2 weeks with Daddy, then 2-3 weeks with us again, so hopefully they wont get too bored

Kent - we don't break up til next Wednesday (23rd). They go back Wednesday 3rd Sept.

DS2 doesn't finish until Wednesday. Poor soul has had to put up with DS1, who finished his GCSEs on 23 June, lounging round the place all this time!

Playschool finishes on Monday and school on Tuesday.
