I have just survived an OFSTEAD inspection!

After months of planning, mountains of paperwork and a week of being on the edge, the preliminary results are in. I work in two departments, Maths got an 'excellent' grade and computing got 'very good'. I am now off to have a drink and a quiet nervous breaksown.

Well done slug. And drink! Drink! I barely survived OFSTED myself in Sept 04. I was 7 weeks pregnant and morning sickness kicked in with a vengeance that same week. The during Friday night pint lo and behold the feeling subsided. If I had only known!

EXCELLENT. We were meant to have one this year- got the letter before the summer BUT they haven't managed to put a team together. Still not heard anything so I spose it'll be next year now
