But he away on the day the reports came out, so he's bumped it up a bit now

I'll make you all feel good because....

I have misplaced my children's reports! My sis came round today and I was going to show her, but I couldn't find them! I have no idea what I've done with them.

However, I do remember their attendance was around 97% with no unauthorised absences.

Lost. I'm the worse mother ever!

Did it not come with a print out showing when the absences were? Ours did - not that I would remember when she was off sick unless I checked my leave card at work!!

PussinWellies · 15/07/2008 13:31

Errmmm...
just checked my son's and his has 'Unauthorised absence: 100%'.

Right guys, beat that!

Though methinks someone put it in the wrong column.

morethanyoubargainfor · 15/07/2008 13:40

My ds was bad at out of 336 sessions his was 260, with 3 unauthorised absence. Our school class unautorised if they arrive at school after registration has finished, thought he would have more to be honest. I am a little but hey he is only 5 and has the next 11 years improve, or should that be for us to improve on getting him there?!

Dd1 had 100% attendnace.

last year she had 8 authorised absence (hols)

Squirdle · 22/07/2008 18:58

I am not even going to bother trying to work out DS1's attendance. In the last few weeks we have had 2 letters home to say he has had unauthorised attendance on 2 occasions. Needless to say this worried me as he is 14 and you do worry about them bunking off school (not that DS is the sort to, but hey you never know)

Anyway it turns out that the 2 occasions were once when we had DS's German exchange student here. They were in registration in the morning and the tutor knew that they were off to Bath on a day trip and so wouldn't be in registration for the afternoon and the second time was when his tutor group attended the Hat Fair...the tutor was actually present as well!

I did call and say that I hoped that these would not be marked down as a non attendance, but I think they have.....I give up!

doiwant3 · 23/07/2008 18:07

Ours had 10 lates, which I find astonishing as I take her every day and we are always on time.V annoying.
BTW Times has a funny article on reports today. I shall try to do a link, but am not very good at this stuff
