Posting here as didn't get any responses on the local thread!
We are considering a move from Scotland (originally from Kent) to somewhere around Lancaster, would be East or North due to wanting to be closer to family near Carlisle.
Reason for move is mostly study which would be in Lancaster.
We have two children one who is 6 and one who is 3, so either in school or will be starting when we move.
One of the biggest things of our move would be primary schools and would love to hear from anyone who had any local knowledge!
I'd really like them to be in a village school which has a good outdoor space, values outdoor education and CofE would be nice too.
Could anyone give any pointers? We have had a very brief visit through places like Carnforth, Silverdale (a bit far out I think but otherwise lovely).
Would really appreciate any local knowledge of areas and especially schools you would recommend 😊.
