Advice needed - clash in A-level timetable!

My daughter has recently started year 12 at a new school. She was accepted to study A-level Psychology, Sociology and P.E. Last week the school changed the timetable for everyone, and now once a fortnight she has P.E at the same time as Sociology. This is the message I received from the head of year;

I am sorry to hear of the clash on A’s timetable. We have been working our way through all clashes and resolving these wherever possible. It is unfortunately the case that it is not possible for us to resolve this specific clash for A; I am very sorry about this.
Although the clash is not resolvable, A’s teachers and form tutor will of course be working with A and providing support to her around managing this clash.

What kind of 'support' should we expect around this? I doubt recording the lesson would be allowed? TIA

I don’t think it’s a disaster. I assume she will miss sociology/PE every other so it’s only missing one lesson every 4 weeks?
A levels have a lot more independent study than GCSE so I’d assume her teachers will give her class work to complete in her own time and she can go to them if there’s anything she doesn’t understand.

I guess that means missing 1 lesson a month in each subject, so 1 lesson per 20 hours? If she alternates which she attends.

Ex teacher

yeah not unusual.

we put lesson resources in teams/google classroom plus links to questions/videos used.

most students arranged to get notes from another student

Thank you all! Sounds like its not a disaster. I'll tell her to talk to her teachers.
