We went on a school tour a few months ago and were subsequently offered a place. I actually really enjoyed the tour with the girls and came away with a good feeling about the school, but I have to say, the conversation I had with the headteacher, Miss C, afterwards left me feeling a little unsure.
She made a couple of quite flippant comments about parents who already have daughters at the school, basically suggesting that they don’t necessarily know what’s best for their own children and don’t always know what they’re talking about. I found it a bit odd, particularly as I’m sure those parents have a lot of valuable experience of the school.
I’ve since seen another thread where someone said the head had “ruined” the school, which has now made me question whether we should actually take the place.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with Miss C or have daughters currently at the school? I’d really appreciate some honest, balanced views before we make a decision! xxx
