Hi there - is it possible to be on the catchment area for both Orleans Park and Grey Court if you live close to St Margaret’s station? Thanks!

The catchments are not fixed, so in theory it’s possible, but I’d say highly unlikely given previous distances. The Orleans catchment area is usually only around 1km. Grey Court is larger, but I don’t think Richmond council would count the ferry as part of the route in the distance criteria meaning it would likely be too far from St Margaret’s.

if you’re moving, I’d suggest getting nearer to whichever you like best!

Latest distances for reference:

@rachelg1974 Hammertons Ferry is seasonal, only operates from 10am to 6pm, and only when the tide is right, so won't be included in the council's walking distance routes. You'd have to go via Richmond Bridge or Teddington Bridge which would be much longer routes.

So no, its not possible to be in catchment for both.
