Hello, just wanted to start a thread to exchange ideas and discuss current issues (general).
i am a parent governor in a secondary school (+ 6th form)
Preliminary A level results are in, next week will be KS3.
it seems like univeristies are reporting a loss of international students I wonder whether this will mean more uk students in top unis or restructuring their offer.
i am also keeping in mind the very difficult job market for young people at the moment and how to help students prepare for the future (esp. in the context of general narrowing of a levels options). How is this balanced with Burnam wish for more vocational courses and how do you anticipate this will impact your school?
