Reading Boys School

I fear we have been ill prepared. We are in catchment for Reading Boys. DS has been practicing using some 11+ books and I thought he would be fine based on that and it only testing year 5. But now I’ve left it late and he will sit in 2 weeks and I don’t want him to be grossly unprepared.

It is the FSCE format exam. Does anyone know how long each paper is or how long they were last year? Is there anything you can share on what happened in last year’s or what he should know to expect?

im kicking myself and want to give him as much info before so he’s not on the back foot entirely. We couldn’t afford tuition

2 weeks is tight but not nothing - i'd focus on timed past papers rather than anything new at this point. we've used ace 11+ for ours, has FSCE style mock papers and shows you where the weak spots are so you're not wasting time on stuff he's already solid on (https://www.ace11plus.org/diagnostic). better use of the next 2 weeks than random books imo

Thank you for responding. That link doesn’t work but I can google them. Is their timing for each paper accurate? I keep reading different things online
