ALLEYNS HAMPSTEAD. Any parents out there who could please share latest feedback on the transition from NBH to Alleyns Hampstead? Any concerns within the community?

It is awful and if you have the money spend it on private tutors instead.

The new head has not yet started and when he does it will take him time to settle etc. This year 7 have had lot of issues (lack of stretch, lack of SEN support or as one parent who reached out to me said it was non-existent, no school clubs that are interesting mostly not attended, constant chaos in the classroom so other senior teachers had to intervene and bullying issues). The parent that told me this has left and apparently there are another several children leaving current year 7. There is so much advertisement on the new school hence the reason we were interested in it as we are moving from abroad but decided not to after speaking to some parents. The transition will affect teachers and children and it will be difficult time for them until they settle. It might be a very good school in a few years or it might be sold to someone else…. You are safer in a well-established school….
