I’ve seen lots of bad reviews for RAA in Reigate. My son is currently in an independent school and I was looking to move him for secondary. What is it like there?

The staff were striking today which suggests it is not a happy school at the moment.

Much better than a normal state school. Not as good as an independent.

If you can afford independent for secondary, keep your DC in independent. If it's going to be a struggle to finance, RAA is good alternative.

The strikes are about redundancy and staff t's&C's. Unfortunately, funding is an issue everywhere in state. RAA have managed to shield themselves from the funding crisis for longer than most but it's starting to catch up to them.

But I am shocked you've read lots of bad reviews. Where are you reading them? Most parents and ex-pupils leave glowing reviews on public ads/articles/fb parenting groups.
