Modern education focuses on technology, critical thinking, creativity, and practical learning rather than just memorization.

Well, thanks for that.

Do you mean 'what should be modern education' or 'what is modern (ie current) education'?

Assuming you mean 'should' would you care to assert your reasoning?

I mean what modern education should be. It should move beyond memorization and focus on critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills, because today’s rapidly changing world requires learners to adapt, solve problems, and think independently rather than just recall information.

It was never “just” recall.

But memorisation serves a useful purpose of training your brain to store information.

You cannot think critically if you don’t know anything.
