Amersham Primary Schools - would you go for St Georges or Chestnut Lane if you had the choice?

Chestnut Lane. Always been a great school but are you catchment for both?

Thank you - we would be in catchment for both. Have heard that there may be some concerns about management at Chestnuts Lane ?

@Rockclimber67 I’m not close enough to know about that. Historically it’s been the most sought after infant school in Amersham. However schools can experience a dip and have to readjust! What has been said about SLT?

@Rockclimber67 What concerns? The 2025 Ofsted didn’t have any last year. The other aspect is that one is CofE. Do you want that? Lots of CofE school can push religion harder than you might expect. Are you comfortable with CofE?
