51 or 52?

bettymoo212 · 08/04/2026 00:55

In all except C, the parallel lines intersecting the shape form lines of equal length within the shape.

Yeh if it's 51 then C has two different sized lines as the double line intersecting the shape.

If it's 52 then I think the answer is A bc it is the only one where the blacked-out shape is not the same shape as the intersecting shape.

Well spotted

The lower line is thicker and grey

This.

OhWise1 · 08/04/2026 08:47

the intersecting lines 1. Not slanted are 2) nearer tbe ends of the shape than in tbe other options 3) one of the intersecting lines is thicker

dairydebris · 08/04/2026 08:50

Its C because the single line is bisecting the internal shape at a narrower point. All other lines bisect at same shape thickness.

Think that's just lighting from where I took pic of the screen. It is same size and colour on paper and screen

Thank you this makes sense now!

Oh makes sense then as I was wondering why they put two criteria when it should only be one to avoid confusion and conflicting interpretations.

PTSDpanic · 08/04/2026 16:24

It’s C because in all the other examples, the middle shape made by the bisecting lines is a quadrilateral and the width of the shape where the lines bisect the shape is the same for both the single and double lines.
