Hi - we are considering moving to the catchment area for Montpelier Primary School in Ealing W5 and request for in-year transfer, and want to hear from the parents currently sending the little ones there, to understand if they are happy with the school, teachers, behaviour of children and their parents. Also whether they have many interesting school trips (museums, theatres, fieldtrips) and after school clubs. I was surprised about the cost of morning/after school care run by the third party. Is it actually offering good value for money? Thank you.

You might want to move this to the primary section.
Are you from the USA? When you say 'in year transfer' you know that just means 'wait list'. There is no automatic right to a place just because you live nearby. You can go on the waitlist where you are - people who live closer will have priority but - it's a large school so I imagine places come up. Am sure their website will tell you what after school clubs they have.
I don't know what they charge for wrap around. For reference at my West London primary it's £4.50 for breakfast club (7.50am) and £15 for afterschool (6pm) This is run my school staff, not out sourced. It's pretty basic as it's just childcare in an arts and crafts room (they can play out side if the weather is good).
