Recommendations for children’s magazine/news subscriptions?

Hi all,
I’m looking for recommendations for news or magazine subscriptions for children aged 6–12.
They’re good readers, and I’d really like to encourage more interest in what’s going on in the world in a kid-friendly way.
When I was growing up we read newspapers and magazines, but that feels a bit less common now.
Ideally I’m after something educational but fun – maybe covering current events, science, or the wider world, but explained in an engaging, accessible way.
I’m specifically looking for print rather than digital. Any suggestions much appreciated.

How it works is a science based nag. Definitely relevant and worldwide content but all science and discovery themes. If you mean actual news stories there is ‘first week’ and ‘the week’…

What on Earth magazine is great - in partnership with encylopedia britannica. It has a mix of news and nature/ science articles and it’s always colourful and interesting

Aquila magazine is very good, esp for history/science - but for news you want The Week Junior.
