Independent school Bursary assessment

Hi all,

We have applied for a bursary a week go at an independent school. My daughter has received an offer. The financial assessment is being handled by a third party (BAL). We are currently waiting for them to contact us.

Has anyone been through this recently? How long did it take to hear after submitting documents? And what was the home visit like?

We have to do one yearly for son, who is in seniors. It took forever!

And we didn’t have a home visit at all.

Not recently , but we had a home visit from an independent school when applying for Year 8, it all took a couple of months because they normally have a cut off date for paperwork to be received then they start working out percentages of what's available
