Halliford v Ibstock

Hi, would really appreciate some thoughts. We’re in Wimbledon and have offers from Ibstock and Halliford. My son likes sport and the arts and we think a smaller school might suit him better. He’s quite taken by the esports set-up at Ibstock but I’m wondering how much of that is just marketing. We are also keen on co-ed but open to single sex. Does anyone have experience of either school in terms of overall vibe, pastoral care and how they support kids who aren’t super academic? Also, how easy is Halliford to get to from Wimbledon? Thanks so much.

We are very happy with Ibstock, but I’m sorry I can’t comment on the esport . I heard it is very good for teamwork and strategy but my kids aren’t interested in it so I don’t know much.
I know there are training and competitions in various tournaments and in one of them the school was 2nd in the UK in 2025. There is also an all-girls squad.
