Hi, First time on here so a little unsure on how this all works.
I've tried to search but I just can't find any help.

My 2 Boys Year 10 & 11- both ADHD just wont do any Home Education and I have to write a progress report to The Home Education Team.

Any help with the progress reports as there isn't ANY progress! but I've already been "deemed unsuitable" so now worried I'll be sent to court etc. There must be other parents who have the same problem? Please help xxxxx

The LA doesn't have to offer anything, the OP has deregistered for Elective Home Education therefore has assumed responsibility, she now has to decide whether to give responsibility back to the LA (put them back in school or ask for section 19 provision if they're unable to attend school for a reason, or provide evidence of a suitable education taking place )

The unsuitable part comes when op hasn't been able to supply 'sufficent evidence' of a suitable, full time education (can't remember the exact wording ) probably.not helped by the older lad going to work with his dad. It's quite easy to remedy, doesn't have to be formal 'school work' can be photos of them doing some cooking, weighing ingredients etc

I have not met a home educated school refuser yet who isn't addicted to gaming, usually Roblox. Have you tried removing screens?

OP just reply by commenting. I’m a adhd parent but my child is in school (when they go in) so I can’t understand quite what yours do do

Why and how did they end up being EHE? How long have you been doing it for?

What do they do all day?

Are they refusing to engage with any learning at all?

What support did they have for their ADHD? Are they medicated?
