iPads in schools

This man has written a book on using screens in the classroom and he has posted this on the latest PISa tests:

I think more info is needed than that graph. Which children are spending 6 hours a day on screens in school and what are they using them for? Does screen use in those schools correlate with a lack of teachers? Which countries are they? How do they decide if the kids who sat the PISA tests are the same ones on screens? (E.g. access to devices varies massively across schools in England).

Not saying that edtech in schools isn't causing issues (particularly if the kids have access to the internet on the devices but are expected to ignore that), but that the graph raises far, far more questions than it answers.

And the article the tweet links to is behind a paywall, as is the archived version so there's no way of finding out without paying.
