Those deciding between two schools. Our daughter easily got into hot house academic schools but we decided on shs. As soon as we walked in we knew we wanted our daughter to end up like the girls at this school and we were proved right in every way. Not only an excellent education whereby all opportunities are available but also great lifetime friendships made. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Could I ask you - by SHS, are you referring to St Helen’s and St Katherine’s? Thank you!

Guildford High School ('hothouse'), vs Surbiton High School (or possibly, Sutton High School), perhaps?

Outside bet, Stroud High School, but no 'GHS' within many miles (the two girls' state grammar schools in Gloucester having 'names', although one of them did used to be called the High School for Girls).
