Looking for Mandarin speaking nursery / shared nanny / playgroup in N1 Islington

Hi everyone,
I’m starting to think about early education options for my little one (she’s only 11 weeks old right now!) and would love to connect with anyone in or near N1 Islington who’s exploring Mandarin exposure for their baby.
I’m half Malaysian Chinese, and while my own Mandarin isn’t great (I’m learning!), it’s really important to me that my daughter grows up hearing and speaking it from early on. I’d be so grateful for any recommendations or leads whether it’s a:

  • Mandarin-speaking nursery or childminder
  • Shared nanny who speaks Mandarin
  • Mandarin playgroup / music class / parent-baby meet-up
  • Or even other parents nearby who’d like to start something together!
Happy to chat, share ideas, or co-organise a small playgroup if there’s interest. Thanks so much in advance 💛

Hatching Dragons near Barbican might be an idea for you

My DS went to a French/English nursery which also offered Mandarin. It’s a chain of a couple in North London called Les Petites Etoiles. I don’t know if it would be enough Mandarin for you but it was a great nursery. We only speak English at home but I was keen to get DS exposed to a few different languages at an early stage.

There's a Saturday morning group in NW3 for mother tongue speakers for age 3+.
