Dear Parents,
My DS has been successful at getting on the reserve list for 13+ year 9 at City of London School. For context, he gave the assessments and interviews in year 8 (so not the usual 11+ or deferred entry 13+ route). I would like to know:
- How likely is the school to offer him a confirmed place from this reserve list? I am not sure how many places open up during the year.
- Will he have to sit the common entrance exams at the end of his school year to qualify for a confirmed place. I am not sure about this as the CLS said that they will reach out as soon as there is a place available.
The school has not shared guidance on any of the above hence reaching out.
I would greatly appreciate if other mums / parents could share their experience.
Many thanks in advance.
