13+ reserve list at City of London School (Boys)

Dear Parents,
My DS has been successful at getting on the reserve list for 13+ year 9 at City of London School. For context, he gave the assessments and interviews in year 8 (so not the usual 11+ or deferred entry 13+ route). I would like to know:

1. How likely is the school to offer him a confirmed place from this reserve list? I am not sure how many places open up during the year.
2. Will he have to sit the common entrance exams at the end of his school year to qualify for a confirmed place. I am not sure about this as the CLS said that they will reach out as soon as there is a place available.

The school has not shared guidance on any of the above hence reaching out.
I would greatly appreciate if other mums / parents could share their experience.

@zarmen Nothing as of yet. We are still on the reserve list.

Thank you for replying, are they saying how long to wait? Number on waiting list etc? 😭

@zarmen They say they don't have a waiting list. It depends on which kind of profile they are looking for for e.g. good in music, sports etc. I've given up mentally.
