This news on schools week UK where they're using deepfake teachers really rocked me. Is this okay? What are peoples thoughts on tech so young at schools and now deepfake? It feels like an experiment on our children.

I'm feeling really uneasy about the amount of tech in schools right now due to growing evidence to it's longterm detriment to education outcomes for children's education and health and well being. My daughters nearest school has 'an ipad for every child' from 5, she doesn't have tech at home as I was following the late Steve Jobs example with his kids (as he knew fairly well he'd created something with a great dopamine hit). I imagined that they would be getting screens from 7/8 not as young as 5. Something doesn't feel right.
What do Mums feel about this? Is anyone feeling like I am?
