Hi all,
Im struggling to know what to do. My daughter is in secondary school and struggling. I think ADHD and poss a low Autism possible. She is due to be seen by Ed Psychologist. The school has told me they will suspend her for disturbing classes and not listening but done nothing to support in class.
They will send her to alternative education.
How can I stop this or delay as we are moving to another town and will be too much chance for her🤔

Is she struggling with learning or behaviour , or both?

The school should be putting in support either way, before they consider suspending her or moving her. Presumably, they are hoping for advice from the EP. You, or they, should apply for an EHCP, so the school will have additional funding to support your child.

With both behaviour and learning, only capable but cannot focus to get started and settle in, very easily upset and cannot take no , so gets argumentative

How was she in primary?

you say you think adhd and possibly autism - have you had this conversation with school/is she in the queue for assessment?

Request a meeting with the SENCO. Follow up with an email so you have a paper trail as evidnece. The school must make reasonable adjustments and must make their best endeavours to meet DD’s SEN. You can request an EHCNA yourself. On their website, IPSEA has a model letter you can use.

They have not made any adjustments but made a referral for ADHD, they said they cannot support her in the school
what's an EHCNA?

EHCNA = Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment. It is the needs assessment you first request as part of the EHCP process.

I will apply for EHCP, just waiting to hear from EP, thank you for the IPSEA info
She was okay in primary, always busy but from about year 6 and once teen hormones kicked in things changed big time
