Sometimes you just read something that really hits home. Hard. For me, it was this open letter to the education secretary, written by a parent and former headteacher.

Thank you to this Headteacher who himself has lost his career and health to Covid, the virus that they keep telling us is mild 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

There's always a tweet from Labour but you will find she really doesn't care about this. Or education in general.

It struck a chord with me as I’m also a parent who can no longer work due to long covid. I had no vulnerabilities. DC caught it at school. What’s happened to me is happening to thousands and thousands of children.
