RGS Surrey Hills

Hi

We are considering RGS Surrey Hills for our daughter starting next September in year 7.

I was just wondering if there are any parents who could offer some feedback on how they find the school? There has been some big changes recently with the RGS takeover and it all sounded very positive when we viewed the school but it would be extremely useful to hear the thoughts of current parents.

We are happy here. My daughter has grown in confidence and teachers got to know her really quikcly. Leadership have been open about what is happening. All seems very positive.
I would say since the Headmistress has joined it changed for the better, but since joining RGS there seems to a be a bit more of a push on academics, but my daughter says it's not too much. We liked the school before but are even more impressed now.
Its a really friendly school so definitely ask for a coffee with the Headmistress as it really depends on your child I think. Good luck! :-)
