Brighton private schools help

Hi all 👋
We are moving from London to Brighton (yes another one sorry 🫣) and I would love a little insight into a few schools if possible for my 7 year old daughter. I am considering :
Brighton girls
Our Lady of Sion
Sompting Abbots
Old Lewes Grammar
I am hoping for somewhere nurturing with small classes as my daughter is mildly dyslexic and could do with some confidence boosting. Not a hot house.
The good, the bad and the ugly all welcome.

I can speak very highly of Brighton girls as can many of my friends. They support learning differences very well, small classes (specially at the prep school your daughter would start in). Pastoral care is amazing. Their ethos is that if you provide what the child needs the results stem from that - it’s all about encouragement and not pressure. They run gazillions of free clubs all through the week too which adds to the value for money aspect. There is a real sense of community across the whole school.

That is really wonderful to hear and sounds to be exactly what I’m looking/hoping to find for my little girl. Thank you so much for reaching out to tell me this. Love that you say the community is really friendly too as obviously as we are moving from London it would be lovely to make local friends and feel welcome 🙏🏻
