Kurt Hahn schools- any experiences/thoughts etc?

My little step-brother has just been accepted to one in the South of England. I don't much about the Kurt Hahn ideals...other than what I have found on Wikipedia!
I'm just intrigued to know what he will be up to...especially looking at the fees! Any thoughts/experiences?

I went to one.

Emphasis on outdor eduction, educating whole child and comunity living. Which basically seemed to mean kids doing a 'morning cleaning' session as a whole school and 'estate work' on the school farm.

But outdoor ed was the really big thing. Which many loved, but I loathed, and spent 6 years swearing that when I left I'd never climb another mountain, absail or go down a cave again.
