Anyone else have a dc sitting CE (13+) next week ? How's it going ?

My ds2 is ready now for monday morning...wierd feeling. All I can do is ply him with nutritious food and be around if he needs help, but actually he has surprised us by working fairly independently and not needing to be nagged to do his work. all good stuff, but otoh he won't even ask me to go over his vocab/science/anything (!) so I'm not actually sure how well he knows his stuff.

My dd isn't sitting it at the moment but is at a school where the Yr 8's are. From what their mothers have said to me, it seems they are all revising independently just like your ds. I am sure he will be fine, it seems to be far more nerve-wracking for the mums!!

dh says that absolutely everyone in the world who takes CE passes, so I shouldnt worry

My DS did it last year and put us through the wringer. He came out with As and Bs though.
