DD A level biology paper 1 missing. What do we do

Please has anyone experienced this. My dd on A level result day missed a B in biology by one mark and therefore missed her uni offer. When we asked for paper review we were told part of her paper 1 was missing hence they estimated her score for that paper. The teacher advised to review paper 2 instead. We requested to review paper 2 and 3. She now lost 2 marks in both paper which means she's now 3 marks away from B.
We want to ask for the paper 1 as she feel she did well in that. But we can't as some part of it is missing. Not sure what to do or even someone has experienced this or any A level teacher can advise. She is so devastated. Thank you.

You should’ve pushed with the school to get the exam board to locate paper one before the remark happened. There’s nothing you can do about paper 2&3 now, as far as I’m aware the remark for those means her marks go down.

Did the missed grade mean she missed out on uni, and is she going to uni in the autumn?

Yes she missed her firm offer and insurance. Won't be going this year because she will have to resit Biology.
Can I not still insist the exam board locate the paper. She just said asking to review paper 1 will take time and advised to review the other paper.

The issue is with subjects like biology it’s much harder to find three marks, because it’s not as subjective as, say, English.

I’d be spinning this as a positive at this point. If she’s only resitting biology, she can go and get work experience in the field, she can get a job and be in a much better position going to uni than her peers, she can spend time with her family. I know it’ll sting for her now, but I think the better way to deal with it at this point is to make it a good thing
