Hi would be so grateful if anyone can offer any advice on the primary schools in West Byfleet and the nearest secondary school, I think it’s Fullbrook? If anyone has any experiences they can share. Thank you

Watching with interest as we’re considering Fullbrook as a secondary for dd1

I know you posted a while ago but I just spotted this thread.

West Byfleet Primary Schools - very good. As are the ones in Byfleet, Pyrford and New Haw. It's an excellent area for good schools.

Fullbrook - large but very well run and has good results. If SEN is an issue though they can support low level SEN well but struggle with any significant needs (the same for most secondaries really). If there are no additional needs then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fullbrook.

I’d add as well, following a recent long post on sixth forms and how far away they often are from where people live - Fullbrook is one of the only secondaries nearby that has a sixth form. The others are in catholic or private schools. I think Hoe Valley is growing one now but it’s still new. So that’s a potential additional plus to the school. Of course there’s still the option to travel to the excellent sixth form colleges as well.
