Looking at small, nurturing schools for DS1 when he gets to Year 7 commutable from South Oxfordshire. He’s autistic, very academic, extremely shy but wants to make friends. Is not sporty but is musical and artsy, I hear Cranford is quite nurturing. Wondering about diversity, though, as DS is quirky and different, and hasn’t really fitted into a rural primary school. He fared a bit better when he went to a city primary school in Oxford with more diversity, before we moved. Thoughts on Cranford, or elsewhere?
