help with Norfolk House School

Hello,

I am exploring Norfolk House in Muswell Hill for my 8 year old. Does anyone have any first hand experience with the school? We liked the vibe and the emphasis on wellbeing and academics, but we felt that space was really limited which can have an impact on the type of activities the children can do in the classrooms. What do you feel about their 11+ results? Many thanks!

Looking at their 11+ offers, the vast majority are for less selective schools, and I'm sure everyone is still tutored. To be really open they need to say how many of each were accepted, so you know if for example the Belmont/Aldenham ones were backups or final destinations.

Yes, you are probably right. Most of the offers were for Belmont.

It is a smaller school, i think in terms of extracurricular activities they offer a good choice and they take kids by buses to swimming pool, Ally Pally and so on.

They have smaller classes, easy commute - and yes it does depend on cohort. Imho - everybody uses tutors.

From what I've heard from local families - don't waste your money. Lots of good state primaries in the area...
