Books for dyslexic kids / any tech to help?

DD is 10, in year 5. I'm starting to feel really sorry for her because she brings home books she wants to read, then can't. She needs text that is well spaced, and broken up by pictures or different fonts. She loves audio books. She adores school stories and old fashioned books like Enid Blyton, and children's classics such as the secret garden, but they are all dense prose on a page. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Dyslexic DS enjoys graphic novel versions of classic books. Lord of the flies and Watership Down are both really impressive in graphic form, probably a little much for a 10 year old, but it may be a book format she could enjoy.

Thanks! These are both great suggestions.
