Surbiton nurseries / infant schools

We are moving to Surbiton from abroad in November and I am looking at nurseries for my daughter, ideally attached to a primary school as we intend to send her to state primary, at least initially. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience of good nurseries and state primary schools in that area, or ones to aroid? She turns 3 in December so not sure if we have already missed the application deadline for next year or how it works with in year admissions.

Do you have an address in Surbiton already? If you are looking for a linked pre-school and state school there's no point recommending one too far from your address if you won't get a Reception place there.

Long Ditton Infants has a nursery class and is judged Outstanding for Early Years. The school itself then feeds into Long Ditton St Mary's junior school (also Outstanding) and the junior school is a feeder for the (also Outstanding) Hinchley Wood secondary, if you are in the catchment area.

Thanks @WrongDitton that’s v helpful! I have some flexibility on area as we are currently looking to buy or could rent first, although he catchment area for Long Ditton Infants seems quite small (basically just Long Ditton area, some of Southborough?) so not sure we will be able to find something in our budget (around £1 million for a 4 bed). My DH also needs to be in London 5 days a week so can’t live too far from Surbiton station.
