Hi, I need some advice please.
Our family is moving to Bulgaria and my son is just finishing year 9.
We plan to home/online school him so that he can complete years 10 & 11 and still get his GCSEs.
Has anyone done this from a foreign country and able to offer any advice?

I'm getting a little overwhelmed with it all if I'm honest.

If your looking for free, Oak Academy and BBC Bitesize are your best bets.

It's not likely to be finding resources that's your problem, more it will be keeping your child engaged and motivated to learn the full, traditional curriculum.

If you're happy to pay, there are lots of online learning avaliable. Have a look at Academy 21

I've just checked Academy 21 and it looks like you can't get a place if home educating. Most private tutors offer online learning tho.

The normal advice for home educating KS4 is to work out what exams you can feasibly sit and work backwards from that.
Are you planning to return to the UK for exams or will be be sitting them in Bulgaria?
