Private Schools in Bristol

We are planning to relocate from Manchester to Bristol due to a new job opportunity. Our son currently attends Manchester Grammar School.

We are considering Clifton College and Bristol Grammar School for his next school, and would appreciate any recommendations or insights on both.

Additionally, we would like advice on the best areas to live in Bristol if we choose either of these schools.

Clifton College is the local Eton. It's expensive and exclusive with lots of pastoral care, boarders, posh things to do, sports and academic stuff. Big fees.

BGS and QEH are the former grammar schools, they're much more academic. Both still do plenty of sports but are much more academic than Clifton College.

It depends on what you're looking for but you can't go wrong with any of the above really. All are financially sound.

If you were to live somewhere for these schools then anywhere in BS6, BS8 or BS9.
