Surrey/Southampton University?

Asking for my DS for BSC in physics.which uni is better?

Whichever one DS likes the most, surely?

I agree with the previous poster - your DS needs to go and visit each of them. It is difficult to compare them as Southampton is a city based university whilst Surrey is a campus based.

I would ask your DS to think about what they think they want to do afterwards, that will help them see whether the modules are relevant. Think about professional placement years and the amount of support given by tutors (e.g. staff:student ratio).
