Schools in Walton-on-Thames

Hi! We are considering moving to Walton-on-Thames, and currently exploring the nurseries and from next year primary schools. Any recommendations or advice? I heard that schools in that area are all good, but i believe i could hear other opinion.
Also i keep hearing about ‘school catchment’ and sometimes it is confusing. Does any preschools guarantee you a spot only if you attend a particular nursery (same branch) or you can apply in any preschool?
is there any place to get all this information?

Join the “Walton and Hersham Mums” group on Facebook and ask there as they’ll be very helpful. Generally you can’t “choose” a school as you get allocated whatever one makes sense under the protocols so unless you live in one of the few lucky areas, you won’t be able to choose.
