Im potentially facing redundancy & looking to broaden my skills for future positions. Could anyone recommend AAT course providers?

Also experiences and recommendations please for online learning / online tutor based classroom learning - there is a big difference in cost so after reviews of either please?

I'm an AAT member and I found Kaplan fantastic for my studies. You can study yourself at home from the text books, online classes or go in person. I studied via a modern apprenticeship back in the day (over 20yrs ago). My employer paid for my studies and exams while I worked for them. If you want to go down the practice route in accounting, try and see if you can get a study package with an employer. Be aware that they normally stipulate if you leave the employer within a certain time period, you'll need to repay some of the costs. It can absolutely be studied without an employer though.
BPP are another great study provider. If you want to keep it as cheap as possible, look at Open Tuition online. They have some great free online classes and resources.
All the best, and I hope some of that is helpful x
