What is going on at Nottingham High School?

The school have deleted their page about his retirement, a blog praising him as been deleted.

Massive salary!

That’s a worry. Apart from that, stepping down 4 months early when it’s been announced for a year doesn’t seem too unreasonable.

Teachers, never mind heads, don’t often leave mid term.

I’m approaching retirement and wonder if I can stick another week let alone another 4 months! Being demob happy, losing interest in today because next week looks so much better… it’s hard to focus as you near the end of something.

If I was receiving £290k from paying parents who entrusted the running of a school to me I might be able to stick it out. Especially as there are two half term holidays and the Easter break within those 4 months.

It is odd. I hope it’s nothing that can’t be fixed.
