Bilingual International School Paris

Would love to hear from anyone who has experiences of BISP, please! We are relocating to Paris and the bilingual school pool is a minefield! So many options but the better ones all seem to be oversubscribed. So far leaning towards BISP, seems pretty contemporary and genuinely bilingual. Kids have enough French to get up to speed pretty quickly.

I was educated in a French school in Paris, and spoke French at school and English at home. I was so grateful because it meant I was truly immersed and to this day I am still bilingual (accent too!). The Ecole active bilingue did have many transient students (some I met through Girl Scouts) so friends would come and go, might be worth considering if you are going to be there longer than a year or two.

Thank you @Dogsintheyard we have considered this although we want them to have a good level of written English and we are quite happy with the international nature of the school albeit you are right about the downside of disappearing friends. We already experience this living in a multicultural part of London

Yes, I get that. I had weekly English lessons with a UK based distance learning provider.
